Menswear Online - Number Six, London

Number Six London, originally born under the guise When We Were Casuals back in 2007, was launched by childhood friends Chris Dacey and Mark Batista. Both have long histories in the fashion industry, with Mark the owner of sales agency Brand Progression, (dealing with Garbstore, Suit, Velour etc,) and the founder of pioneering menswear tradeshow To Be Confirmed (that went onto show in Tokyo and New York.) Though the name changed, their focus on quality has never erred.

In March 2010 When We Were Casuals became Number Six, and in the process underwent an organic yet marked overhaul. Ralph Lauren, Heritage Research, Oliver Spencer, Mark McNairy, Filson, Grenson, Libertine Libertine, Barbour To Ki To, Calabrese and many more joined the key timeless staples – Clarks, Barbour, Adidas Originals, Saint James, Penfield amongst others. Number Six with its constantly evolving brand offering, renaming and consequent re-launch, now incorporates the timeless, casuals fashions of old with more contemporary international menswear brands.

Number Six stocks some of the best menswear pieces from around the world. And if you like an exclusive or hard-to-find piece, Number Six is your mecca. The store has already introduced a number of key styles and indeed brands to the UK market in its somewhat short history – classic old German brand Seil Marschall for instance had never been sold in the country before it went into store a few months back.

Spreading their wings, Number Six have since branched out from their Brick Lane home to a very-recently-opened second store in Hampstead, North-West London. From these two bases as well as an equally resourceful online outlet, Number Six continues striving to meet and exceed menswear needs.
